Our current topic is 'Going on Safari'. During this topic, we will be looking at Africa and more particularly Kenya.  We will look at the human and physical features of Kenya and where it is in the world.  We will also look at the Maasai people and create some Maasai influenced jewellery.

Big Maths

Learn It's, CLIC and SAFE Challenges are tested every week and the completed sheets are sent home so that any mistakes can be reviewed at home ready for next week.

The children are expected to read for at least 10 minutes each night. The children's reading books are changed on a Monday and three books will be given to them which should last them the week. Parents are expected to record their child's reading in their home/school reading record.

The children will be given a list of 10 spellings every Monday. These will be stuck into their Spelling book along with the spelling rule for each set of spellings. Spellings will be tested on Fridays.

Spellings for week beginning 10th February 2020
